•Join TEGNA’s Development Team creating cutting-edge websites and apps. •Support existing applications, develop new ones, and improve workflows. •Collaborate with developers, designers, and managers to develop new features. •Investigate and resolve product issues as a key resource. •Build, deploy, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code. •Pay meticulous attention to detail and identify bottlenecks and bugs. •Quickly learn new technologies and be a strong team player.
•Proficient with .NET Core, C#, MVC framework, JSON, and working with APIs. •Strong skills in JavaScript. •Experience building and/or interfacing with RESTful APIs. •Experience with programming and troubleshooting. •Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git. •Willingness to learn new technologies and frameworks as needed. •Understanding of fundamental design principles behind scalable applications. •Teamwork skills with a problem-solving attitude. •Experience working with SQL and/or NoSQL databases is a plus. •Experience developing for and on cloud-based systems is a plus, but not required. •Familiarity with front-end frameworks like React or Angular is a plus. •Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices is a plus.
