• Develop features, experiences and integrations that delight the user. • Build APIs for web and mobile consumption. • Develop integrations to enhance user experience. • Model database schema in MySQL or similar relational databases. • Design associated object models in Java. • Build easy-to-use, well-tested, scalable microservices. • Enhance development and delivery processes through new tools. • Work with QA to improve product quality through automation.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a Software Engineer. • Strong software development experience with server-side proficiency in Java. • Proficiency in automated testing, writing unit tests, and familiarity with continuous integration environments. • Strong foundation in data structures, design patterns, OOP/OOD, and architectural principles. • Demonstrated knowledge of MySQL. • Experience supporting continuous integration processes. • Superb attention to detail that enhances user experience. • Proven experience with multiple product iterations and releases. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Ability to work flexibly across multiple projects with fast-paced, iterative development cycles. • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Experience completing a release cycle for a consumer-facing product/company.
