Description

• The Mid-Level QA Engineer performs manual and automated testing to ensure functional working solutions for development projects. • Works within the QA Team and developers to build complex testing processes. • Requires high initiative in problem solving in a fast-paced environment. • Contributes to the creation, management, and execution of test cases and test runs. • Develops detailed test plans and bug reports. • Performs troubleshooting and repair of existing test scripts. • Participates in team meetings, working with developers, project managers, and other testers.

Requirements

• B.S. Degree in Information Technology or equivalent work experience. • At least 3 years testing, programming, or other relevant IT experience. • At least 1 years’ experience with automated testing tools. • Experience with test management tools (e.g. JIRA) • Experience with test automation tools (e.g. Cypress, Selenium WebDriver). • Experience with REST API (e.g. Postman). • Experience with scripting and programming languages (e.g. C#, JavaScript, Bash, Groovy) • Experience or knowledge of version control, CI/CD pipeline concepts (e.g. Jenkins, Docker, Github, Bamboo, git). • Working knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL) and relational database structures. • Experience with the Atlassian suite of tools, including JIRA and Confluence. • Experience testing applications in Windows and Chrome/Edge. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills. • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal. • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
