• Perform “eyes-on-glass” function through effective security event management • Monitor, alert, and report to ensure security of organization’s operating environment • Establish, operate and maintain security controls and processes • Conduct security investigations and incident response • Work with security architecture, offensive security, cloud platforms, development engineers, and DevSecOps • Gather and document service and product information for threat risk analysis • Support security solutions to secure web hosting environments • Report on vulnerabilities and provide mitigation recommendations • Perform threat hunting activities and monitor security events within SIEM • Act as a security incident response responder • Develop and maintain playbooks and SOPs for security events • Generate accurate incident reports during investigative processes
• An insatiable appetite for new and emerging security technologies • Previous working experience as a Security Analyst for minimum 3 years • BA in IT specializing in Cybersecurity, IT or Computer Science • Advanced writing skills (Technical and non-technical) • Advanced knowledge of cloud security (Azure, AWS, GCP) • Advanced Networking knowledge such as public vs private IP, MAC Addressing, DNS, OSI model, DHCP • Experience of application development processes and at least one programing or scripting language (e.g., Java, Scala, C#, Ruby, Perl, Python, PowerShell) • Experience of security controls implementation • Experience with Vulnerability Scanning tools such as Nessus, Burp Suite and Rapid7 • Experience with SIEM tools such as MS Sentinel and QRadar and SOAR tools. • Experience managing alerts from EDR/MDR endpoint protection • Experience in the creation and update of incident response, playbooks, runbooks • Experience with Cloud based security tools (CSPM, CWPP) such as Lacework, Palo Alto • Solid understanding of firewalls, IDS, PKI, and cryptography • Solid understanding of NIST CSF, ISO 27001 frameworks and certification • Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines • Applicable knowledge of Windows client/server, Unix/Linux systems, Mac OS X
