Description

• Key purpose of this role is to partner with internal teams for financial management. • Manage financial performance reporting, budget preparation, and R&D cost management. • Support cyclical financial, accounting, and corporate reporting for R&D projects.

Requirements

• Bachelors’ degree in Finance or Commerce with post qualification professional accounting certification (CPA or CA) required • Strong demonstrated career experience in a global public organization. • Sound commercial acumen and financial management skills and experience, gathering and analyzing data, reports and presenting findings and recommendations to senior management and key stakeholders. • Previous demonstrated experience supporting large scale R&D projects with key internal stakeholders and external partner or network organisations. Understanding of project costing, capital and investment will be well regarded. • 10+ years of experience in financial reporting to monthly, quarterly, and annual cycle requirements including corporate, compliance and audit requirements. • Experience in pharmaceuticals or biotechnology sectors will be highly regarded.
