• Join us on a mission to save the planet! • Reversing the impact of climate change is one of the world’s biggest challenges. • Terrascope is a smart carbon management and accounting platform. • We are looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. • This role will focus on crafting robust, scalable, and high-performance SaaS solutions. • The ideal candidate is highly skilled in the PERN stack, AWS cloud infrastructure, and DevOps workflows.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM field. • At least 5 to 8 years of extensive experience as a Platform engineer building both full-stack applications and devops experience apps. • Deep competence in PERN(Postgres, Express/Fastify, React and Node.js) stack and AWS cloud infrastructure. • Deep competence in TypeScript, React, and Postgres ORM frameworks. • Deep competence in GitHub DevOps, AWS EKS deployments and database migration workflow automation skills. • Proven experience with scalable, large data sets and high-performance SaaS applications. • Strong ability to work with and optimize large-scale data systems • You have a willingness to learn, teach and step outside of your comfort zone. • You enjoy working in a fast-paced and SLA driven environment. • You are a problem solver with startup experience and a passion for developer productivity. • You are an advocate for clean, maintainable code and modern engineering practices. • You have experience with modern SaaS deployment or microservices architecture.
