Description

• Location: This is a fully remote role and is open to those who reside in Latin America. • Testlio is a leading quality management company. Its unique approach combines humans and machines to help digital innovators assure quality products at scale. • Project Focus: You will be a Software Quality Assurance Tester following Agile methodologies on this project, focusing on functional and regression testing. • Project duration: 1 year. • Schedule: full-time, 40 hours a week. Working time is usually between 12:00 pm and 16:00 pm (EST). • Timezone: You must reside within a 3-hour timezone of CT for this role. • Must-have devices: android or iOS mobile devices.

Requirements

• Proven experience (2+ years) as a Software Tester or similar role, with a strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and tools (such as Jira, TestRail, Xray, or similar). • Experience with mobile and web applications frontend testing; backend testing is a bonus. • Proficiency in identifying and documenting software bugs and issues. • Ability to solve basic technical tasks required during testing - such as test data generation, log capturing and basic analysis, working with browser developer tools, network logs analyzers, etc. • Experience in working in agile teams in a remote environment - proven track record of communication and collaboration with different stakeholders such as Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and others. • Good understanding of SDLC. • Experience with these primary testing categories: functional and regression testing. • Familiarity with API testing tools such as Charles, Insomnia, and Postman is a strong plus. • A certificate of completion of BBST Foundations, Bug Advocacy, Test Design, and Domain testing courses or similar is not required, but it is nice to have. • Minor scripting or programming experience is not required, but it is nice to have.
