Description

• We are looking for a Senior Cloud Platform Engineer to join our team. • You will play a pivotal part in designing, implementing, and managing secure, scalable, and highly automated cloud-based solutions on the Azure platform. • You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive a technology transformation and facilitate a seamless migration to the cloud. • Designing, implementing, and maintaining highly available, scalable, and self-healing systems on the Azure platform. • Developing and delivering the core Azure cloud platform strategy, automation, and continuous improvement. • Collaborating with the Architecture, Engineering, Product, and IT teams to define and deliver the strategy for modernizing existing cloud and on-premises platform infrastructure. • Performing cloud platform cost analysis and optimizations. • Understanding, implementing, and automating cloud security controls, governance processes, and compliance validation. • Understand, implement and automate build and deploy pipelines, CI/CD principles, and proper build automation. • Defining standards and deploying monitoring, metrics, and logging solutions that measure the performance and health of our Azure platform. • Designing, managing, and maintaining tools to automate operational processes. • Performing regular platform maintenance, patching, and software updates. • Researching, exploring, prototyping, and implementing services in Azure. • Working with partners, vendors, and other product and engineering teams to analyze, design and deliver technology solutions. • Providing consulting and mentoring to teams on core cloud concepts. • You will play a pivotal part in designing, implementing, and managing secure, scalable, and highly automated cloud-based solutions on the Azure platform.

Requirements

• A Bachelor degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience. • 5+ years of DevOps, SRE, software development, or infrastructure experience. • 4+ years of experience implementing and operating fully automated, secure, and scalable cloud solutions. • Deep knowledge of core Azure cloud platform including Networking, Storage, Compute, Container Services, and Data Services. • One or more Azure specialty certifications (preferred). • Proficiency in Python for scripting and automation. • Strong understanding of GitHub and version control workflows, including Gitflow. • Experience developing Infrastructure as Code including Terraform and ARM templates. • Experience with platform monitoring and observability tools including Azure Log. • Analytics, Azure Monitor, Azure App Insights, and Dynatrace. • Experience with Azure security best practices and patterns. • Experience administering and configuring AKS clusters. • Experience with on-prem to cloud migrations. • Experience working with Azure Databricks is preferred. • Demonstrated interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with Architecture, Engineering, Product, and IT teams. • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross- functional teams. • Proactive and detail-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement. • Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a dynamic environment.
