• Develop a business plan and sales strategy for the market that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability. • Responsible for the performance and development of the sales team. • Supporting the team to effectively close sales leads and develop new prospects. • Initiates and coordinates development of action plans. • Assists in the development and implementation of marketing plans as needed. • Conducts one-on-one reviews with the sales team to build more effective communication, to understand training and development needs, and to provide insight for the improvement of all sales activities. • Controls expenses to meet budget guidelines. • Interviews, recommends, and hires sales team personnel based on criteria agreed upon by senior management.
• 2+ years of management experience (i.e., managing teams and direct reports). • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Results driven and self-motivated with a ‘can do’ attitude and determination to ‘close the deal’. • Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills with senior levels of the organization (internal and external). • Ability to use relationship management effectively. • Demonstrated ability to influence actions and gain the support of others to meet objectives. • Experience with Healthcare, Senior Living, or Food Service is a plus.
