• Teach course sections in Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy • Provide high-quality synchronous instruction for online, masters-level courses • Infuse integrative systemic theory and practice into course material • Facilitate synchronous sessions with 15 or fewer students each week • Grade and return all papers and assignments within two weeks or earlier • Respond to all correspondence within 48 hours • Participate in remediation/retention efforts as needed • Attend occasional required teaching faculty meetings • Maintain ongoing professional activity (i.e., research, scholarship, presentations, leadership, teaching/supervising, clinical practice, etc.)
• Advanced degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or related discipline (PhD in MFT is preferred) • Two or more years of experience teaching graduate-level courses and/or clinically supervising graduate-level students. • Experience with systemic clinical practice in applicant’s areas of expertise • Active clinical licensure in home state, or the ability to gain such • Reliable and consistent access to high-speed internet and computer • Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT) identity as evidenced by professional affiliations, publications, and licensure; or related field of mental health services • Evidence of ability to teach within the discipline of MFT • Knowledge of or openness to learning about integrative systemic therapy • Cultural competence and strong interest in diversity • Excellent organizational skills • Creativity, innovation, and ability to work independently and within a team • Ability to adapt to new and rapidly changing situations • Strong time management and problem-solving skills • Ability to successfully resolve issues from identification through resolution • Effectively work with multiple databases and student platforms • Skilled at connecting and building rapport with students and faculty • Excellent interpersonal skills • Excellent oral and written communication skills
