Description

• We are looking for a dynamic Community Manager who is motivated by the opportunity to create real value + impact in the world. • You will join a small, growing team in a fast-paced, supportive, mission driven start-up. • As Community Manager, you will play a key role in building and nurturing the foundations of the global Freebird community of members, partners & collaborators. • You will work closely with the Co-Founders and growth/marketing team to develop community strategy, grow the membership, promote engagement, implement initiatives and improve community related features over time. • The role will entail developing a clear strategy for growing and managing the community, and include a data and results-based approach to measuring the quantitative and qualitative health of Freebird Club’s community relations.

Requirements

• A real “people” person. • Positive and progressive in all interactions. • Excellent knowledge of social media platforms and social media management tools. • Superior organisational skills; ability to monitor and facilitate communication across multiple channels. • 4+ years experience in a previous community management or related role. • Customer service experience is a premium. • Strong understanding and experience of business operations and processes, including project management. • Strong computer skills, including knowledge of relevant software programs and tools, including analytics tools. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including grammar and spelling, and the ability to create high quality engaging content. • Excellent analytical skills, with strong attention to detail. • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or other related fields. • Demonstrate integrity, dependability, accountability, self-awareness, work ethic, empathy and compassion. • Self-directed with ability to get lots done with limited guidance. • Takes ownership. • Be okay with making mistakes.
