• Support development and improvement of systems and institutions aimed at enhancing stability and security in conflict-affected areas. • Assist in the development of a Center for Civil-Military Coordination (CCMR), for the purpose of promoting comprehensive security approaches and to facilitate the sharing of training knowledge among regional partners.
• Retired O-5 / O-6 with U.S. Army Special Forces qualifications or U.S. Marine Corps Raider qualifications and experience. • 10+ years of knowledge of special operations capabilities, service interoperability, and operational integration from the tactical to strategic level. • 5+ years of experience supporting partner nation development of operating concepts and follow-on plans to support successful execution of Operational Plans (OPLAN) and Concepts of Operations (CONOP), including development of doctrine, Mission Essential Tasks, and training program design. • Extensive experience in civil-military engagement, institutional capacity building, and force professionalization. • Subject matter expertise in crafting and developing ‘whole-of-government’ approach in combating violent extremist organizations (VEO). • Subject matter expertise in regional partner integrations for communications, analysis, and production. • 2+ years of experience working at OSD, Joint Staff, Combatant Command, or Theater Special Operations Command (TSOC) special operations strategy/planning staff. • 2+ years of functional experience integrating Civil-Military Cooperation (CIMIC) concepts into Irregular Warfare (IW) doctrine or plans. • Operational deployments to one or more African countries. • Active DoD Secret Clearance.
