📋 Description
• Looma is an in-store digital media platform focused on storytelling, education, and recommendations. • As a Senior Data Scientist, you will deepen our understanding of shopper behavior, build models to measure media impact, and develop AI systems that recommend products to shoppers. • Your responsibilities include performance reporting, AI recommendation engines, data infrastructure and ETL optimization, and A/B testing & ad-hoc analysis. • You will enjoy significant ownership and influence over key strategic decisions as you grow into the role.
🎯 Requirements
• A degree in a relevant field such as information science, mathematics, statistics, or computer science. • 5+ years of data science experience, including recent roles in a startup or early-stage company. • Proficiency with cloud-based data platforms (GCP preferred) and data extraction from SFTP servers, APIs. • Proficiency in building, deploying, and optimizing machine learning models and pipelines using Python, with experience in PyTorch, TensorFlow, and Kubeflow. • Experience with data transformation in SQL using tools like dbt or similar data processing frameworks. • Experience with deploying interactive visualizations and building BI dashboards (Tableau, PowerBI, Looker, Databox). • Familiarity with modeling advertising performance and shopper behavior analysis within the CPG industry. • Track record of contributing to strategic discussions with sales, product, and executive stakeholders.
