📋 Description
• Partner with leadership, product management, engineering, and other key stakeholders to discover, define, design, and deliver world-class experiences. • Create user flows, wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and prototypes using Figma (or your preferred design tool) • Leverage Figma features like Auto Layout, Libraries, and Prototypes to create robust UX that scales for millions of Android and iOS users • Collaborate with our content team to establish an asset library of real images and text strings, ensuring designs accurately reflect the app's content and use cases while addressing potential issues like clipping, overflow, and accessibility • Analyze user session data, heatmaps, and conduct usability testing to gather insights and iterate on designs to improve the user journey • Advocate for the user and help us consider our full audience, balancing diverse concerns from optimizing battery life to improving accessibility and reducing friction • Execute in a fast-paced, rapidly growing startup environment
🎯 Requirements
• 7+ years of experience in UI/UX design for mobile apps, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design skills and problem-solving abilities • Mastery of Figma (or alternative design tools) and a deep understanding of mobile app design principles and best practices • Experience determining the end-to-end user experience map, building empathy and understanding with the users in order to improve their journey through the app and make thoughtful design decisions. • Proven track record of conducting user research, usability testing, and translating insights into actionable design improvements • Expertise in creating and maintaining design systems, component libraries, and asset management best practices • Passion for astrology and alignment with our mission to provide personalized, insightful, and engaging content to our users
