Description
• Advice, draft, negotiate various types of agreements (sales agreements, collaboration agreements, IT agreements, co-marketing agreement, license agreements, procurement agreements, MSAs, etc) • Ensure compliance with laws (including MedTech Europe and sunshine), policies and processes • Assist with settlements and dispute resolution matters • Provide advice on legal queries such as competition law, regulatory, data privacy, healthcare compliance, IP, etc • Contribute to the team's harmonization and digitization strategies • Align with leadership on priorities and goals • Educate and train employees regarding templates, laws, processes and procedures, etc
Requirements
• Qualified and admitted as a lawyer in Belgium or Netherlands • Proven experience of more than 5 years in-house (or in international law firm) in general commercial/transactional legal work (in life science, pharma, biotech industry an advantage) • Strong experience in the key responsibilities described above • Excellent communication, collaboration and negotiation skills • Strong commercial awareness and business sense (including the ability to influence business teams) • Ability to develop processes, to find pragmatic solutions to problems and to prioritize work • Ability to work in a matrixed, fast paced and changing environment • Possess flexibility and ability to think laterally • Proficiency in English (Dutch or French an advantage)
