📋 Description
• Discover impactful work as our new Field Service Engineer (FSE). • The successful candidate will be responsible for customers within their respective region. • Own and deliver service commitments and complete installations, repairs, data analysis and calibrations, preventative maintenance, training and radiation services on X-Ray fluorescence Spectrometers (XRF) and optical emission spectrometers (OES). • Responsible for providing services both remote or at site, within the agreed conditions. • Maintain a high level of customer allegiance by building strong customer relationships and promoting an excellent customer experience. • Partnering with our commercial colleagues to deliver customer projects that can be implemented to meet and exceed customer expectations.
🎯 Requirements
• Professional background in Electronics/Engineering or related subjects • Experience in handling or servicing analytical equipment • Some knowledge of spectroscopy would be an advantage, but not critical • Proficient in English; additional languages a plus • A valid Driver’s License • Comfortable working in a customer-facing role, with an always customer-centric approach • Strong interpersonal and administrative skills • Self-sufficient; comfortable working independently and a logical approach to setting work priorities • Willing and able to travel extensively on a weekly basis across the region (4 to 5 days per week), including some overnight stays and longer trips for trainings etc - up to 80% annum. • Field service experience (technical) or strong service knowledge • Preferable knowledge in heavy industrial process (metallurgy, mining, geology and geochemistry, petroleum, polymers, glass, etc…) • Outstanding fixing skills passionate about electromechanical, software and application issues
