Description

•Lead a field-based team supporting the clinical testing market. •Primary support for Clinical laboratories with implementation, training, validation, and troubleshooting. •Understand clinical landscape to develop strategies for clinical markets. •Review and assist customers with analysis of Ion Torrent data. •Provide technical and applications assistance in response to customer inquiries. •Provide training to customers at their laboratories and Thermo Fisher locations. •Promote new products at customer sites and conferences. •Build relationships with customers and maintain structured communication. •Acquiring successful adoption of technology in applied markets with potential applications.

Requirements

•BA/BS or MS degree in Life Sciences, PhD preferred •4+ years of professional experience •Prior people leadership experience preferred •Experience in NGS sequencing, Capillary Electrophoresis, qPCR, and RT-PCR •Understanding of healthcare industry standards •Technically savvy individual to assess customer clinical needs •Previous experience as application specialist desirable •Analytical proficiencies and technological understanding •Strong administrative skills •Excellent communication, networking, and problem-solving skills •Ability to understand and articulate complex scientific literature •Medical background, laboratory experience, or managed care preferred •Clinical Laboratory experience/MLT a plus
