Description
• Provide scientific support for discrete tasks. • May independently manage some project-related tasks. • Assists with preparing proposals, protocols, and reports by conducting internet and literature searches. • Conducts literature reviews by abstracting data from scientific articles. • Conducts and may coordinate site activities, including: recruitment, contracting and IRB submissions, site management and training. • Conducts and assists with data collection and data management, including conducting one-on-one cognitive interviews, co-moderating focus groups; compiles data collection tools, performing data entry and review. • Provides help with data analysis, including preparing qualitative code book, performing and coordinating coding, and reviewing quantitative data tables. • Perform efficient delegation and communication within/outside of project team, and communicate regularly with senior project team members about project tasks. • Assist with financial management of project.
Requirements
• Master’s Degree in scientific field and at least one year or Bachelor’s Degree in scientific field and at least two years of experience in healthcare research • MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel for entry • Atlas.ti; Access data entry; InFormU; EndNote; PubMed/embase; DataFax to be used in position • Basic understanding of research methods and practical knowledge of research implementation • Collaborative team member, capable of efficient multi-tasking • Strong problem-solving skills, Demonstrates attention to detail • Ability to work well within a team environment • Excellent language skills (comprehension, speaking, reading and writing) in English and Spanish or French
