• As an experienced UX developer, serve as a technical leader to develop and maintain our design system. • Build modular, performant, and accessible components and patterns in close collaboration with the UX Design team. • Responsible for the design system infrastructure; deploy code, integrate with products, deliver documentation, and lead change in the codebase. • Lead development and publication strategy for design systems and serve as an advisor for our frontend UI to teams, designers, and leadership. • Assist product leads in defining new features and translating technical requirements. • Participate in production deployment as needed. • Prototype and develop new insights and participate in all parts of the lifecycle from research to release. • Independently learn new technologies and identify and resolve problems.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional front-end development around the user experience following the newest technologies and practices. • Hands-on UI engineering experience with a focus on front-end development and web components technology. • Proficient in a broad range of software design approaches and well established UX patterns. • Familiarity with responsive layout and mobile-first oriented implementations, accessibility, and user interactions. • Advanced understanding of JavaScript frameworks with front-end development tools (e.g. React, Angular, Ember, Vue.js, etc.) and the latest web architectures and asynchronous service-to-service communication and API management. • Experience with CSS preprocessors (e.g. Sass or Less). • Experience handling human-readable data-serialization language (e.g. YAML, JSON). • Experience with continuous integration tools (e.g. Jenkins, GitHub actions), continuous delivery infrastructure and version control systems. • Experience working within an Agile and Scrum based development model. • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. • Excellent teammate with strong verbal & written communication skills.
