📋 Description
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define scope and scheduling for game updates and major releases. • Development of detailed, actionable release plans, ensuring all stakeholders understand deliverables, timelines and dependencies. • Identification of potential bottlenecks of pitfalls early and work with the teams to implement effective mitigation strategies. • Coordination with QA to ensure thorough testing, triage and resolution of issues before any updates. • Maintaining a high-quality bar for all releases, championing best practices and continuous improvement. • Manage end-to-end release process, including preparing release documentation, final approvals and live deployment. • Conduct post-launch reviews, gathering feedback to refine our processes and boost future launches.
🎯 Requirements
• 3+ years of proven experience in release management, or a similar role within the gaming industry. • AAA experience - at least one shipped title (bonus points if you've managed global releases!). • Solid understanding of software development lifecycles, game development pipelines and best practices for launch readiness. • Exceptional communication skills, being able to ensure that all teams are aligned and aware of the project goals. • Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira and Confluence. • Strong organisational skills. • Demonstrated success working remotely.
