Description
• Marvel Studios is hiring a visual development artist for animated series • Develop and complete finished color scripts and production-ready assets within deadlines • Complete and develop environment designs and graphics • Work with creative staff on addressing design fixes needed from vendor • Resolve design problems with creative supervisors • Be available throughout work hours to receive briefs and notes, and attend meetings • Communicate progress of work to appropriate production staff
Requirements
• Must be comfortable tackling a wide range of environments: organic, mechanical, architectural, sci-fi, alien, historical, contemporary, MCU etc. • Must demonstrate high-level drawing and painting skills • Artists are expected to have a solid understanding of composition, value, perspective, color, shape language, and overall design • High proficiency with Photoshop is a must, and knowledge of or willingness to learn applicable design and production software and hardware • Knowledge of 2D and/or 3D modeling a plus • Strong time-management skills • Strong communication skills • Works well under pressure
