• Contribute to the incorporation of the next generation of AI into Reuters News tooling. • Work on engineering team integrating deep learning and machine learning models into cloud-based applications. • Collaborate with senior Data Scientists on data acquisition, training, and performance measurements.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Data Science, Data Engineering, or Computer Science with a focus on Data Science. • Good understanding of, and academic experience with, deep learning and machine learning models. • Hands-on experience in one or more programming languages, such as Python or JavaScript. • Familiarity with common machine learning and natural language processing evaluation metrics, such as accuracy, precision, and recall. • Understand API development and best practices. • Comfortable with Agile practices. • Academic experience with cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, and exposure to automation, system monitoring, and cloud-native applications. • Academic experience working on group software projects. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
