Description
• Manage end-to-end billing, revenue recognition, accounts receivable, and accounts payable process • Assist with the month-end close process, including account reconciliations and maintenance of monthly support schedules • Provide direct support for successful annual audit and tax work • Assist with the implementation of accounting procedures, systems, and controls • Identify, design, and assist in implementing strategic enhancements to drive financial data accuracy and expediency • Proactively contribute to our growing finance and accounting function, • Assist in analyzing financial trends and variances to improve data accuracy • Work cross-functionally within the organization to compile and enhance financial / SaaS metrics tracking, reporting, and visibility
Requirements
• Bachelor's or higher degree in Accounting or Finance (or related) field • 2+ years of accounting experience in a startup, corporate, consulting, or audit capacity • Well-versed in GAAP • Strong Excel skills, including data tables, pivot tables, v-lookups, etc. • Demonstrated knowledge of accounting and financial systems, processes, and all applicable accounting and tax standards • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Strong accuracy, attention to detail, investigative, and analytical skill • Ability to manage multiple concurrent responsibilities – prioritize effectively and deliver results with an ownership mentality • You’re eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced, exciting startup environment
