📋 Description

• Support the management and maintenance of the ShipConstructor software environment • Ensure data integrity, optimize workflows, and provide technical support to engineering and design teams • Manage product hierarchies, revisions, drawing management, and task management within ShipConstructor • Develop and maintain the ShipConstructor product hierarchy and structure • Ensure data consistency and integrity across all projects • Manage material databases, part libraries, and standard parts • Implement and enforce data management standards and procedures • Manage revision control processes for 3D models, drawings, and documentation • Implement and maintain change management procedures • Track and document all revisions and changes • Ensure accurate and timely distribution of revised documents • Develop and maintain drawing templates and standards • Manage drawing generation, plotting, and distribution • Ensure compliance with drawing standards and specifications • Implement and maintain drawing management workflows • Utilize ShipConstructor's task management tools to assign, track, and manage engineering tasks • Monitor project progress and identify potential bottlenecks • Generate reports on task status and project performance • Assist in optimizing project workflows • Provide technical support and training to ShipConstructor users • Develop and maintain user documentation and training materials • Stay up-to-date on ShipConstructor updates and new features • Act as a liaison between the engineering team and the software vendor • Analyze existing workflows and identify areas for improvement • Develop and implement new workflows to enhance efficiency and productivity • Automate repetitive tasks and processes • Document and standardize best practices

🎯 Requirements

• Highschool diploma/GED equivalent • An ideal candidate will possess a technical diploma, professional certification, Associate degree, or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant design or modeling discipline • At least three (3) to five (5) years of proven experience as a ShipConstructor Administrator or similar role supporting Navy, Coast Guard, or commercial shipyards • Strong understanding of ship design and construction processes • Proficiency in ShipConstructor software and its modules • Experience with 3D modeling and CAD software • Knowledge of database management and data integrity principles • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
