📋 Description
• A Voice Implementation Engineer is responsible for completing telephony projects for new and existing clients. • Perform site assessments and engineering tasks required to onboard Thrive Managed Voice Services. • Work with other Engineers, Project Managers and Thrive clients to accomplish goals. • Travel to client locations to perform comprehensive site assessments. • Assess network and infrastructure readiness for VoIP. • Implementation of IT projects related to telephony.
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree, Technical Degree or equivalent work experience • 1-3 years of experience in successful operation and support of voice and data networks • Self-motivated with ability to work both independently and in a team environment • Experience using ServiceNow (or other project management software) • Experience in ITIL methodology and change management processes • Knowledge of traditional phone systems, Avaya/Nortel/NEC/Star2Star strongly preferred • Familiarity with modern VoIP systems, Teams/8x8 strongly preferred
