📋 Description

• Preparation of substation project design, studies, and technical documents • Lead the project design team and provide supervisory direction for design and layout drawing production • Develop scopes of work, conceptual designs, and execution plans • Prepare engineering cost and man-hour estimates and schedules • Physical substation design including yard layouts, plans, and details • Ground grid design plan and equipment/structure grounding details • Prepare calculations for studies and reports • Coordinate design activities with other departments • Provide guidance and mentoring to less experienced team members

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from accredited program • Minimum 7 years related experience (completion of master's degree in related field may be substituted for one year of experience) • Professional Engineer (PE) is preferred • Proficiency with National Electrical Safety Code and IEEE / ANSI Standards • Knowledge of computer drafting tools such as AutoCAD preferred • Excellent written & verbal communication skills • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Capability of solving difficult problems that require adaptation and modification of standard approaches, techniques, procedures, and criteria.
