Description
• Part of a diverse team developing IT solutions for stable and performant infrastructure • Administration and further development of Linux-based systems with a focus on storage and backup • Configuration and maintenance of storage infrastructures, including Fibre Channel SAN • Implementation and support of backup solutions with PowerProtect Data Manager, Data Domain, and Vault • Automation of storage and backup processes and optimization of existing infrastructure • Conduct independent analyses and troubleshoot issues in Linux, storage, and backup • Support the introduction of new technologies for smooth IT operations
Requirements
• Several years of experience in Linux system administration • Knowledge of storage and backup • Ideally experience with Fibre Channel SAN • Familiarity with other storage solutions (e.g., iSCSI, NFS) • Knowledge of backup technologies like PowerProtect Data Manager, Data Domain, and Vault beneficial • Structured and analytical work approach • Good communication skills in German and English (minimum B2)
