📋 Description

• This is a remote position. • The AP Specialist is responsible for managing daily Accounts Receivable (A/R) and Accounts Payable (A/P) tasks, ensuring accurate financial data entry across the company’s various software systems, and supporting accounting processes. • Key Responsibilities include overseeing daily A/R activities, managing all A/P tasks, assisting the finance and accounting teams, and processing incoming bills, invoices, and payments. • Collaborate with the accounting team to maintain consistent and accurate records. • Work closely with the Operations team to track incoming raw materials and their associated invoices. • Perform additional tasks to support overall business operations as required.

🎯 Requirements

• Prior experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or A/R & A/P is essential. • A degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field is preferred, or a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience. • Associates or bachelor’s in business or accounting strongly preferred. • Prior experience and understanding working with payroll preferred. • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to focus on tasks for extended periods. • Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and practices. • Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines. • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. • Comfortable using accounting software and other relevant tools, with the ability to adapt to new systems. • Prior experience with QuickBooks required. • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
