• Come and join us! • We’ve got an incredible team in place, we’ve always been a people-first business (just check out our Glassdoor reviews),and are so proud of the culture we’ve built. • But we’re growing, and we need an expert to come in and ensure we build an amazing team and an inclusive culture as we scale. • This role will involve directly working with brilliant people, who care about what they do, as well as helping steer a 30 person team in London as it grows to 100+ around the world over the next couple of years. • Togather is using technology to build a better global events industry. • We’ve built a curated platform connecting the best suppliers to the most exciting events, from dinner parties for 20, to nationwide virtual events for 2,000, and right up to the UK’s most famous festivals. • We believe that every event deserves incredible food, drink and entertainment and we are building the technology to unlock it for everyone. • We’ve brought together an incredible community of the nation’s finest event suppliers, from independent photographers, mixologists and florists, to the finest chefs and restaurants in the world such as Nobu, Bao, and Honest Burger. • And yes, joining us means a lot of free food and tickets to events... • Only four years into our journey, our clients include everyone from Amazon, Nike and London Pride, to Tom Cruise, Star Wars and Taylor Swift. • We have seen nothing but rapid growth and were named the 7th most exciting startup in the UK in 2020, were finalists in the 2019 Natwest Entrepreneur Awards, have been featured in pretty much every major publication including; The Guardian, The Times, Techcrunch, The FT and have been named in the top 15 in Tempo’s 50 Best Places to Work. • We have also attracted more than £5m in funding over multiple rounds from some of the UK’s finest investors including Tim Score (Chairman of British Land), MAHR Projects, Ascension Ventures, Guy Berryman (member of Coldplay) and Richard Pennycook (Chairman of On The Beach and Boparen, former THG Chair) who has joined us as Chair. • If you’re a hungry, ambitious, status-quo challenging self-starter looking to change an industry, you’ll fit right in and we want to hear from you. • We use the following Tools and Technologies: • JavaScript/TypeScript for writing the bulk of our application code. • React, Next.js, GraphQL and Vercel for our front-end applications. • Node.js and Express for our API runtime and framework. • Postgres for our databases. • Sequelize for our ORM between our applications to our databases. • Docker for bundling up our applications and deploying them to the world. • AWS / Vercel for our infrastructure, including S3, RDS, RedShift, CodePipeline, Elasticache, and ECS (managed with Terraform). • We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist to join our team. • The QA Specialist will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products by conducting thorough testing procedures. • This role involves collaborating closely with the development team to identify, report, and track software defects and inconsistencies, as well as ensuring that the final products meet the company's quality standards and customer expectations. • This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual who is passionate about quality and eager to make a significant impact in a dynamic environment. • If you are ready to take on the challenge of ensuring our software products are error-free and of the highest quality, we would love to hear from you.

🎯 Requirements

• Key Responsibilities: • Test Planning and Design: • Develop and implement comprehensive test plans to ensure that systems and software perform as expected. • Create detailed, well-structured test cases and scripts based on product requirements and technical specifications. • Test Execution: • Conduct manual and automated tests to identify software bugs, glitches, and inconsistencies. • Perform various types of testing, including functional, regression, integration, performance, and user acceptance testing. • Creating test automation steps as part of a CI/CD process (desirable) • Performance and security testing (desirable) • Bug Tracking and Reporting: • Document and report bugs and errors encountered during testing. • Pair or mobbing on problems in order to drive team collaboration • Work closely with the software development team to prioritize and track defect resolution. • Quality Metrics and Improvement: • Monitor and report on key quality metrics to track progress and identify areas for improvement. • Provide feedback and recommendations to improve product quality, user experience, and testing processes. • Collaboration and Communication: • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and customer support, to ensure seamless product delivery. • Participate in product design reviews to provide input on product features and usability from a QA perspective. • Staying Current: • Stay updated with the latest testing tools, methodologies, and industry trends to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness. • Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. • Proven experience in software quality assurance. • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes. • Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases. • Hands-on experience with automated testing tools is a plus. • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
