Description

• Participate in all aspects of agile software development including design, implementation, and deployment. • Build new features for both sides of the Togetherhood marketplace (schools/communities and enrichment providers) that foster marketplace liquidity and an outstanding customer experience. • Build end-to-end systems optimized for speed and reliability. • Evolve our underlying technology platform to ensure that it can support the rapid expansion of our business in the coming 12-24 months. • Fix bugs reported by our users and internal teammates. • Identify the frameworks, tools, and systems that will enable us to build a world-class product development organization.

Requirements

• Experience building web technologies and working in a startup environment. • Adaptable and a fast learner. • Passion for code and for writing efficient code. • Experience building web applications, using both back-end and front-end technologies (we use Javascript, node.js, AWS). • Comfortable collaborating closely with product managers and designers, providing estimates or product ideas that will influence the company roadmap. • Thrives when faced with customer and product-focused challenges and cares as much about building great products as writing great code. • Mindful, transparent and thoughtful communicator. • Inspired by our mission.
