📋 Description
• Remote position in the Philippines supporting East US Timezone. • Analyze current technology utilized within the company and develop steps and processes to improve and expand upon them. • Collaborate with the engineering team to maintain hardware and software for efficient project completion. • Work on command line and creating automation scripts. • Configuration for Ubuntu Linux (LTS versions). • Develop and maintain CI/CD processes and release cycles. • Utilize configuration management tools like Terraform. • Build and manage cloud-based applications with Azure and AWS. • Manage software firewalls and additional security layers (LDAP, SSO, 2Factor). • Operate in a Linux environment with a good command over scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
🎯 Requirements
• 3-5 years of DevOps experience • 1+ years of programming experience • Bachelor Degree or higher in Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent experience • Good written and spoken command of the English Language • Proficiency in development and release cycles • Excellent understanding of Networking and underlying protocols • Experience creating and maintaining scripts for task automation • Strong knowledge of Web servers (Nginx), configuration of the web servers • Expert in developing, setting up and overseeing Kubernetes clusters • Preferred Scripting languages proficiency: Python, Bash • Experience with Systems and Tools: Operating Ubuntu Linux (LTS versions) Git (Bitbucket preferred) Jenkins & Argo Microsoft Azure services and API’s Automation tools (Terraform, etc.) Experience with Containers utilizing Kubernetes, Docker and associated platforms
