• Senior Broadcast Engineer for a media and entertainment company • Support 74 markets in managing broadcast activities • Ensure compliance with Company Engineering and IT practices • Interface with senior management and contractors • Responsible for studio design, planning, and equipment installation • Perform maintenance and support for broadcast automation and equipment • Travel to installations, upgrades, and support as needed
• Technical training school, or two to four years related experience and/or training • Equivalent combination of education and experience (required) • SBE or computer related certification helpful, but not necessary • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form • Must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds • Frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear • Occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl • Have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; expansive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts and/or operation of machines (including inspection) • Use measurement devices; and/or assembly of fabrication of parts at distances close to the eyes
