Description

• Develop backend services and APIs using Python and Django to support our platforms. • Build analytics and metrics reporting dashboards and tools in React. • Manage application deployment and lifecycle using Docker and Kubernetes. • Ensure database reliability and performance with Postgres and Redis. • Use Terraform for infrastructure as code practices. • Participate in code reviews and team discussions to continuously improve our systems. • Engage in varied tasks like automation, DevOps, and potentially data science projects. • Collaborate with product management and design in crafting systems that help our customers.

Requirements

• Experience as a Full Stack Software Engineer or a similar role. • Proficiency in Python with experience using Django or similar frameworks is a plus. • Experience in Javascript and React (or similar UI libraries/frameworks) • Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes. • Familiarity with databases like Postgres and caching solutions such as Redis. • Ability to work independently, solve complex problems, and grasp new topics quickly in a remote-first setting. • You have strong communication skills and writing skills - we’re a remote-first company that relies on this to work largely asynchronously. • You move fast and have a bias for impact. • Nice to have: Experience in data science is a bonus but not required. • You’ve previously worked in a startup environment. • You’ve started a project from scratch.
