Description

• As a Senior WordPress Developer, you will be responsible for the development, customization, and maintenance of WordPress-based websites. • You will work closely with our design and marketing teams to create high-quality, user-friendly, and SEO-optimized websites that meet our clients' needs. • Develop and maintain WordPress websites, ensuring high performance, availability, and scalability. • Customize WordPress themes and plugins to meet specific project requirements. • Collaborate with designers, project managers, and other developers to implement new features and enhancements. • Optimize websites for SEO, speed, and responsiveness. • Troubleshoot and resolve website issues, bugs, and performance problems. • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies to ensure our websites are cutting-edge. • Mentor and provide guidance to junior developers. • Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and best practices. • Work with RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services. • Ensure websites comply with web standards, accessibility guidelines, and best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field (or equivalent experience). • Minimum of 5 years of experience in WordPress development. • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP. • Experience with popular WordPress plugins and frameworks (e.g., WooCommerce, ACF, Elementor). • Strong understanding of front-end and back-end web development. • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git). • Experience with website optimization techniques and tools (e.g., caching, CDN, image optimization). • Knowledge of SEO best practices and tools. • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Strong communication and teamwork skills. • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
