Description

• Draft and update hospice regulatory policy content for HealthCare ConsultLink. • Research state and federal regulations, drafting appropriate policy content. • Participate in regular monitoring for changes requiring updates to ensure compliance. • Promote and maintain the integrity of HealthCare ConsultLink. • Effectively demonstrate the mission, vision, and values of HCL on a daily basis. • Monitor assigned regulatory sources for changes impacting policy manual content. • Edit existing policies to reflect changes in state or federal regulations. • Provide training and support to other members of the consulting team as needed.

Requirements

• Must possess a current RN license in the home state and be willing to apply for additional licensure in other states, as needed. • At least five (5) years of experience in the hospice industry; additional experience in the home health industry is preferred but not required. • Must have knowledge of clinical and regulatory hospice guidelines and have clinical application knowledge of core components and application of clinical best practices. • Must be able to read and write in English and follow instruction. • The Content Writer should possess reasonable knowledge in computer systems and be able to communicate well both verbally and through written documentation. • Must possess excellent writing skills, including appropriate use of grammar, spelling, and punctuation. • Attention to detail and focus on regulatory correctness are required. • Ability to read, write, and speak Spanish is not required, but is preferred. • The employee should possess knowledge of Microsoft Office with a proficiency in Microsoft Word; additional proficiency in Microsoft Excel is preferred. • Ability to work remotely with a high level of self-discipline for meeting deadlines. • Must effectively communicate in writing and verbally across all levels of personnel. • Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives without supervision. • Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and collaborative working relationships with members of the HealthCare ConsultLink team. • Professional demeanor, self-motivated, dependable, and organized. • Reliable transportation and valid and current auto insurance.
