📋 Description
• Trilogy Federal provides financial management, IT consulting, program management services, and strategic consulting to federal agencies. • Seeking a Cloud Engineer for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). • Requires expertise in cloud infrastructure, DevOps practices, and system architecture. • Role involves designing and implementing secure, scalable cloud solutions for VA IT systems. • Must hold one of the following certifications: AWS Solutions Architect, AWS DevOps Engineer, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, or PEGA Certified System Architect. • Position contingent upon award (Q2/Q3 2025), may require customer site visits in D.C.
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. • One of the following certifications required: AWS Solutions Architect (Associate or Professional), AWS DevOps Engineer (Professional), Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, or PEGA Certified System Architect (PCSA). • 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, or system architecture, with a focus on federal or VA IT environments. • Proven expertise in designing and managing cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or PEGA platforms, including hands-on experience with IaC (e.g., Terraform, ARM templates), CI/CD tools, and containerization. • Strong technical problem-solving skills, with the ability to optimize cloud performance, security, and cost-efficiency in a dynamic, fast-paced setting. • Familiarity with VA security standards (e.g., FISMA, NIST, HIPAA) and the VIP Lean-Agile framework is highly desirable. • Proficiency in MS Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, SharePoint) and VA-approved tools (e.g., Jira, GitHub, ServiceNow). • Ability to adapt to evolving technical requirements and travel occasionally to VA sites in Washington, D.C., as needed. • Ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance
