Description

• Support quality and compliance position, reporting to VP of Clinical Services. • Travel approx. 50% of the time supporting hospice programs. • Complete integrated assessment of care quality. • Identify non-compliance factors and compile data for reporting. • Create and present compliance education materials. • Monitor service providers for effective coordination of care. • Prepare quarterly Quality Improvement report for agency evaluation. • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws. • Assist with delegation and development of public relationships program.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or related field from an accredited college/university. • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license. • At least three years of experience in a hospice-specific quality or compliance role required. • Background as a regional or above quality or compliance leader in the hospice space specifically. • Experience in leading a quality or compliance department in the hospice space is heavily preferred. • In depth knowledge and background in both CAHPS (consumer and palliative surveys) and HIS (hospice item set). • Strong ability to develop strong working relationships with all levels of staff. • Knowledge of Consolo preferred. • Experience in EMR integration desired. • Background in developing educational content relative to hospice specific quality and compliance measures.
