• Support Raleigh, NC project for Epic modules • Primary build and support contact for assigned Epic modules • Coordinate issues arising during project • Maintain communication with Epic representatives • Develop understanding of operational needs for workflows
• Certified by Epic in Resolute Hospital Billing, HB & Claims, Professions Billing, PB & Claims; & Long-Term Care Billing • Epic implementation or operations support experience • 8 Years Health IT experience • Ability to set up and test paper and electronic claims and electronic remittance. • Understanding of upstream and downstream data sources for claims to be able to investigate the root causes of claims errors. • Thorough knowledge of assigned data and the use of its systems via developing through test plans/scenarios • Familiarity with health plan concepts and workflows • Working knowledge in application development and system integration • Skilled in enterprise systems and familiarity with best business practices related to systems • Familiarity with legal requirements and operational policies related to patient and family privacy practices • Working knowledge of security protocols for systems utilized • Experience in the entire development process including specification, workflow analysis, workflow diagrams, data modeling, documentation, and quality • Coordinate and direct computer systems and application design and development • Experience in assessing user needs through discussion with customer • Able to convey technical information to client and promote understanding of relevant issues
