📋 Description

• The Software Development Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of assigned development team members as well as the work that is assigned to the team(s). • This position works closely with other Leaders to ensure that the teams are meeting set corporate goals and objectives. • In addition to working as prescribed in our Performance Factors specific responsibilities of this role include: • Exceptional at all duties & mentors all employees at and below the level Group Lead. • Manages one or more development teams with 5 to 15 team members and is ultimately accountable for the day-to-day activities of each team member. • May manage one or more platforms. • Strong tactical decision-maker. • Manages critical projects that are strategic to our mission. • Assumes role of Scrum Master for one or more development teams as needed. • Mentors and leads the team on software development best practices. • Versed in various roles and responsibilities in their platform lifecycle. • Demonstrates skills with project management tools and methodologies with an ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines. • Participate in development/refinement of division policies, procedures, and education/training materials. • Works closely with division and executive leadership. • Takes on a leadership role among peer management.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a combination of relevant education and equivalent experience. • At least 10+ years full stack software development experience with C#, Javascript and/or React, SQL • Solid foundation in computer science fundamentals and software engineering best practices in an Agile environment • Significant experience designing and delivering applications within cloud based environments. Preferably Azure. • Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills. • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills. • Proven ability to manage change. • Must be detail oriented and able to follow through on issues to resolution. • Excellent team building and employee relationship skills. • 5+ years of management experience. • Healthcare or Financial Services experience preferred. • 2 -4 years of application development experience with TruBridge. • 3 -5 years of staff management experience. • Microsoft Certifications, Scrum Master Certifications, Secure Development Practices
