📋 Description
• Power BI Developer to lead the conversion of hundreds of reports from WebFOCUS to Power BI. • The ideal candidate will have experience working with higher education data models and Ellucian Banner data, as well as a strong background in data modeling, transformation, and visualization. • This role involves building and maintaining scalable data models, efficient data pipelines, and dynamic reports within Azure and Power BI. • Candidates with student information system (SIS) experience and expertise in higher education reporting will be highly preferred. • The Power BI Developer will ensure data accuracy, usability, and performance to support data-driven decision-making across the university.
🎯 Requirements
• 5+ years of experience in Power BI development, data modeling, and visualization. • Strong knowledge of SQL, DAX, Power Query (M language), and ETL tools. • Experience working with Ellucian Banner data or other higher education SIS systems. • Familiarity with Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, or other cloud-based data platforms. • Ability to optimize Power BI reports for performance and usability. • Strong understanding of higher education data structures, including student enrollment, finance, HR, and academic records. • Experience with agile methodologies and project tracking tools such as ServiceNow or Team Dynamix
