Description

• Our client is building the software that builds the world. • They provide cloud-based construction management software that helps clients more efficiently build skyscrapers, hospitals, retail centers, airports, housing complexes, and more. • They have worked hard to create and maintain a culture where you can own your work and are encouraged and given resources to try new ideas. • This is a unique and highly analytical and creative role, requiring strong UX design experience in leading and delivering all design aspects of a usable software product, including field experiences where users work from mobile devices and apps. • You are expected to present your work in critique and to cross-functional stakeholders and make revisions based on feedback. • Design and validate new experiences via mockups, wireframes, flow diagrams, sketches, and other UX artifacts for our cloud-based applications. • Develop high-level, detailed storyboards, sitemaps, mock-ups, user maps, and prototypes to effectively communicate and articulate complex ideas and reach a shared understanding. • Leverage the patterns, content, and solutions created by our Design System, Content Strategy, UX Research, and DesignOps teams. • Work as an embedded member of a cross-functional agile product development team, collaborating with Product Managers, Engineers, and other Product Designers. • Design solutions to allow users to leverage QR codes on a construction job site to more swiftly perform relevant tasks and access information about a given area. • Articulate design decisions to a variety of audiences, including tech leads, clients, and project owners. • Create solutions to allow users to capture video on the jobsite through our app. • Collaborate with the Product Owner or stakeholders, to create high-level and detailed design requirements and make sure the implementation aligns with the vision.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience designing world-class apps with a strong portfolio of design work. • Provide an online portfolio of work to review with best-in-class work and inspiring projects that tackle interaction design problems, including native mobile applications. • Strong proficiency with leading design tools - Specifically Figma. • Strong client-facing communication skills, having the ability to articulate design decisions to a variety of audiences, including tech leads, company leaders, project owners. • Experience dealing with large data sets and many digital objects (supporting different business processes) that often relate to one another and have a lot of metadata associated with them.
