Description

• Write and maintain website code using programming languages such as HTML, C++, and Java. • Collaborate with the back-end and front-end team to develop the overall look, design, and functionality of OTO’s software and applications. • Optimize the performance and scalability of OTO’s web applications, ensuring maximum speed and efficiency, especially during slow loading times. • Integrate and maintain third-party systems, including new payment processing systems and API integrations. • Ensure OTO’s website and applications are accessible across multiple platforms, including computers and smartphones, and comply with industry standards and regulations such as GDPR and ADA. • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues or bugs in OTO’s websites and applications. • Continuously upgrade and maintain new versions of OTO's websites and applications. • Mentor junior engineers in developing responsive UI components and ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs. • Validate all user input before submission to the back-end team and ensure comprehensive documentation for code, procedures, and best practices. • Monitor and analyze website analytics to inform design and development decisions. • Engage in collaborative efforts with team members and stakeholders, participating in agile development processes. • Foster a culture of continuous improvement within OTO’s development team and provide technical support and training to end-users and team members. • Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and consistency and develop automated tests to ensure reliability. • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and tools, researching new technologies that can benefit OTO's products.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or any other related field. • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role. • International experience is a big plus. • Previous work in fast-growing SaaS start-ups is a big plus.
