Description
• Own and manage the product roadmap. Research product needs, pitch ideas for product features and determine which features to include in the product roadmap. • Manage the full lifecycle of product development (from concept to execution, including AB Testing and Metrics Tracking). • Serving as a liaison between the organization, its stakeholders, product and development. • Evaluate product features and ensure that the product meets specific objectives as outlined by management. • Planning, managing and prioritizing the product backlog. • Translating the company’s strategies into detailed product feature specifications and ensuring they’re clearly understood by relevant stakeholders. • Researching and learning the market and the customers’ needs. • Communicate product priorities internally and externally as well as staying accessible to stakeholders (including development) to answer questions.
Requirements
• 3+ years of experience as a Product Manager or Sr. Product Manager, preferably across Africa. • Ability to clearly articulate intent and strategic rationale. • Battle-tested product management skills like story and PRD writing, stakeholder management and similar. • Familiarity and experience with standard prototyping tools, such as Figma, Miro, Whimsical, and Invision. • Deep experience in product development and optimization. • User-driven mindset while driving company objectives. • People management experience is a plus. • Strong drive and an ability to work independently and in a team with a hands-on approach to problem solving of day-to-day issues.
