Description

• Build back end services in ad-tech to acquire users • Write performant Scala code for user acquisition automation • Write SQL to transform data into insights for campaigns • Deploy components in Kubernetes engineering ecosystem • Participate in on-call rotation to handle outages • Evolve software architecture for automating user acquisition • Evaluate tools in Scala ecosystem for architecture improvement • Participate in code and architecture reviews

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field • 3 years of software development or related software engineering experience • Knowledge of Java Virtual Machine (JVM) and Scala • Knowledge of web-based applications using HTTP or gRPC • Knowledge of Concurrency • Knowledge of SQL and noSQL • Experience in Ad tech, mar-tech or growth tech • Experience using Akka • Experience with Kubernetes, Linux and Spark
