📋 Description

•The Director of Platform Services is responsible for leading the strategy, development, and operations of our internal and external platform infrastructure. •This role oversees a team of engineers and service owners to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing platform capabilities that support the company’s products, internal development, and business operations.

🎯 Requirements

•A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. •10+ years of experience in technology leadership, with a focus on platform engineering, infrastructure, DevOps, or Data Engineering. •A track record of strategic initiative ownership, driving alignment, and delivering results in fast-paced environments. •Strong customer focus, with experience driving developer productivity and satisfaction. •Deep expertise in managing and scaling cloud-based infrastructure (preferably AWS), with knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools. •Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines and observability tooling. •The ability to design modern system architectures that follow best practices—such as asynchronous processing, loose coupling, redundancy, and observability. •A strong understanding of the modern data ecosystem, including distributed computing (e.g., Spark), Data Lakes, storage formats, and normalization trade-offs. •A history of building and leading high-performing technical teams. •Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
