Description

• Ensure accurate recording and reporting of complex financial transactions • Design and maintain internal controls for SOX compliance • Provide technical accounting guidance and lead various technical accounting projects • Work cross-functionally with Finance and other internal groups • Interface with outside technical advisors and auditors • Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making • Assist in preparation of quarterly and annual reports and SEC filings • Assist with ESG reporting implementation efforts.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field; CPA or equivalent certification required • 10 years of accounting with a focus in technical accounting within a public accounting firm and a large corporate environment • In-depth knowledge of US GAAP covering variety of technical topics • Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to interpret and apply accounting standards to complex real-world scenarios • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex accounting concepts to non-financial stakeholders • Extensive proficiency designing internal controls based on thorough grasp of the fact pattern and applicable risks. Exceptional ability determining compliant documentation and interfacing with internal and external auditors • High attention to detail, a questioning mind and a commitment to accuracy and integrity in financial reporting.
