Description

• Twilio powers real-time business communications and data solutions. • Build and operate data and analytics systems using technologies like Go, Kafka, and Docker. • Develop standards, procedures, and tools to deploy databases in a large-scale environment. • Build services that provide troubleshooting and insights for customers. • Perform thorough code reviews to maintain a high standard of code quality. • Identify key system metrics and ensure adequate monitoring coverage for services. • Work across teams to troubleshoot complex issues. • Promote a DevOps culture for scalable, reliable services.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in your craft with demonstrated skill progression. • Proficiency with Go or similar typed programming languages (Java, C#, C++, Rust, etc). • Ability to implement reliable, maintainable components. • Automation-minded; experience automating processes and administrative tasks. • A highly effective collaborator, you work with your team and help drive team towards common goals. • Self-driven; take complete ownership of your tasks and champion efforts to get your tasks to completion • Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience. • Experience with Docker, and/or Kubernetes, or other containerization technologies (desired). • Experience with Terraform or similar configuration management tools (desired). • Experience with Clickhouse or other OLAP database systems (desired). • Experience with Kafka or other distributed logging systems (desired). • Experience with AWS or other cloud infrastructure providers (GCP, Azure) (desired).
