Description

• Join the team as Twilio’s next Backend Senior Software Engineer (L3). • Deliver on our mission to power the future of communications. • Design, develop, deploy, and operate software solutions at scale. • Build highly scalable and distributed services. • Collaborate with a geographically distributed team.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software development experience in at least one object-oriented language such as Java and/or Go. • Experience designing, implementing, and integrating with REST APIs. • Experience building and supporting mission critical, performant customer-facing systems. • Experience working with AWS or other cloud provider services. • Experience working with relational and/or NoSQL databases such as MySQL or DynamoDB • Understanding and experience with asynchronous architectures and technologies (Kafka, SQS) • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Experience integrating telemetry and observability tools to monitor and maintain system health and performance
