• As a pharmaceutical support industry leader, UBC is devoted to empowering health solutions for a better tomorrow. • Grow your career while making a meaningful impact on the world around you. • The Senior Data Warehouse Engineer will be a part of our Data Warehousing team, who is responsible for providing the direction, planning, and implementation for future development of data warehousing technologies. • Specific job duties include working closely with the technical and business teams to understand their requirements, perform detailed analysis, and design the appropriate solutions.
🎯 Requirements
• 7 – 10 years of technology experience with 5+ years of data warehouse experience. • 3+ years of experience developing with Microsoft development stack. • Snowflake experience a plus. • Minimum Bachelor in Computer Science or related degree, Master’s degree in Computer Science, MBA, Analytics a plus. • Pharma Experience a Plus. • Experience with Microsoft Azure ecosystem and proficient in using Azure Data warehouse, Azure SQL Database, Azure DevOps and Azure Data Factory (ADF) products. • Experience in creating data flows and stored procedures using Microsoft Visual Studio. • Nice to have experience with SQL Server Integration Server (SSIS). • Proven ability in written and verbal communication, managing work between multiple projects with better planning and organization skills. • Write functional and design specifications for data warehousing systems and analyze and integrate third party software tools and libraries, as necessary. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment within the specified deadlines. • Nice to have Microsoft Azure certification. • Nice to have proficiency with one of Python, R or SAS.
