📋 Description
• Assists the Manager of Data Quality with data quality/data integrity needs by analyzing medical and pharmacy claims, eligibility data, and external data. • Reviews and drives improvement, as well as develops and enhances reports to monitor data quality and data integrity. • Primary user of the Fund’s data warehouse and various internal information systems. • Mentors other analysts in defining methodologies and coding to improve efficiency and accuracy. • Collects, compiles, and analyzes data to measure and report on data quality issues and data monitoring. • Evaluates and improves the quality of the data used to measure and report on performance. • Performs comparative and root cause analysis to identify Data Quality issues. • Develops audits of various data sources to ensure reporting data is accurate and complete. • Works with business partners to assist with data quality checks prior to reports being delivered. • Identifies methods for improving reporting efficiency and automating data audit processes.
🎯 Requirements
• 10+ years of experience in healthcare and claims data analysis (medical, pharmacy, eligibility); ETL experience and data quality audit experience preferred • 10+ years of experience with SQL programming • Working knowledge of and experience with industry-standard medical codes (revenue codes, ICD10 classifications, CPT codes, etc.) • Experience with Power BI or Tableau report development including visualizations, dataset building, and report authoring • A Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare, Informatics, Computer Science, Economics, or related field or equivalent work experience required
